Nominee Criteria for Clinical Practice in a Hospital Setting and for Home Healthcare
- The nominee must be a registered nurse.
- The nominee continually provides an extraordinary level of patient care and compassion.
- The nominee has made significant contributions to his/her nursing specialty.
- The nominee must exemplify the highest qualities possible for leadership and dedication.
- The nominee must be regarded as a leader among peers and be involved in making positive changes in his/her workplace and profession.
Nominee Criteria for Academic Excellence
- The nominee must be a registered nurse.
- The nominee must exhibit a passion for teaching.
- The nominee must have made significant contributions to his/her field of research and/or nursing specialty.
- The nominee must exhibit traits that positively influence the advancement of education and quality of healthcare through their influence and mentorship of their students.
- The nominee must be regarded as a leader among peers and be involved in making positive changes in his/her profession.
