Selection Criteria for Excellence in Nursing Awards

Nominee Criteria for Clinical Practice in a Hospital Setting and for Home Healthcare
  1. The nominee must be a registered nurse.
  2. The nominee continually provides an extraordinary level of patient care and compassion.
  3. The nominee has made significant contributions to his/her nursing specialty.
  4. The nominee must exemplify the highest qualities possible for leadership and dedication.
  5. The nominee must be regarded as a leader among peers and be involved in making positive changes in his/her workplace and profession.
Nominee Criteria for Academic Excellence
  1. The nominee must be a registered nurse.
  2. The nominee must exhibit a passion for teaching.
  3. The nominee must have made significant contributions to his/her field of research and/or nursing specialty.
  4. The nominee must exhibit traits that positively influence the advancement of education and quality of healthcare through their influence and mentorship of their students.
  5. The nominee must be regarded as a leader among peers and be involved in making positive changes in his/her profession.
